Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned an estimated $145 million in its second domestic weekend across 4,487 locations, a drop of 59.7% from its record-setting opening. The Sony and Marvel release has now earned $655.1 million domestically. According to Deadline, the second weekend ranks among the three best sophomore frames in domestic box office history.

The Odyssey held second place with $31.5 million in its fourth weekend at 3,603 locations, down 38.3%. Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's epic has earned $461.2 million domestically.

Two new wide releases entered the top five. One Night Only, a romantic comedy from director Will Gluck starring Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner, debuted at $5.7 million from 3,012 locations. Super Troopers 3 opened to $4 million across 2,760 sites.

Toy Story 5 added $3.9 million in its eighth weekend, bringing its domestic total to $470.4 million. Minions & Monsters continued its run with $3.5 million across 2,451 locations.

The weekend marks another strong frame for a summer that has consistently outperformed projections.
