The son of legendary wrestler Verne Gagne, Greg began his career in the AWA in 1972 and achieved his greatest success as part of the tag team The High Flyers with Jim Brunzell. The duo won the AWA World Tag Team Championship multiple times during the 1970s and 80s, engaging in high-profile rivalries with teams like the East-West Connection and the Sheiks. After The High Flyers split, Gagne continued his career in AWA, feuding with stars like Curt Hennig and Larry Zbyszko.
