From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Fritz Kiersch, real name George Keith Kiersch (born July 23, 1951 in Alpine, Texas) is an American filmmaker, writer and producer. He is best known for directing the horror classic, Children of the Corn and Tuff Turf.
