Born in Caracas in 1937, Judith Valencia is a Venezuelan economist, researcher, and full professor at the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela, UCV). She has served as a political educator for various Venezuelan state institutions and social movements, contributing to the construction and preservation of Latin America's historical memory. Her published works include A Way of Thinking/Approaching Events (1986), Annotations: Methodological Clarifications (1991), The Capital Character Dissolves (Into) Its Territory (2001), and The ALBA Route (2009).
