Lâm Lê Quỳnh Như (born 9 September 1970 in Quảng Trị), better known professionally as Như Quỳnh, is a Vietnamese-American contemporary folk and bolero singer. Winner of the inaugural 1991 Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest, she first gained recognition through cassette recordings and broadcast in Vietnam. In 1994, she immigrated to Pennsylvania, where she produced her debut album, “Chuyện Hoa Sim” [Story of the Rose Myrtle] under Asia Entertainment Inc. With a strong mezzo-soprano voice, diverse performance repertoire and stage presence, she quickly rose to prominence as a darling of the local Vietnamese diaspora and one of its highest-grossing live music artists.
