Barnabás Ambrus (born on 9 January 2008) is a Hungarian actor. He was born in Budapest into an arts-oriented family. From early childhood he trained in voice, piano and drama, and by his early teens had started appearing in youth theatre productions. His musical education gave him a strong foundation for the stage and screen alike. He starred in the film Barni: A Barnabás Ambrus film, playing the titular role of “Barni”. The semi-autobiographical-style production traced a young performer’s journey and helped introduce him to a national film audience. On stage, he played the lead role of Danny Zuko in the Hungarian production of Grease (the musical).
