Þorsteinn Sturla Gunnarsson made his first feature film in high school, a documentary called ARE WE ROLLING?, which was later picked up by streaming service Sjónvarp Símans. He graduated from the Icelandic Film School’s screenwriting and directing branch in 2021. His award-winning graduation film VOID has been to festivals around the world.
