Nico Sanft is a self-taught director based in Hamburg, Germany. His journey as a filmmaker began in 2007, when he was finally able to afford his first camera at the age of 14. Now, 15 years later, he quite literally has been making films for more than half of his life. Following his passion seems to be what he's been doing for as long as he can think—at least that's what it feels like to him anyway. So far, Nico has directed numerous award-winning short films, music videos and spec commercials, and his projects have been screened at both national and international festivals.
