Dzauqy Ilham is an Indonesian filmmaker based on East Java. Began his filmmaking journey after completing his Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. He then focused on directing and screenwriting. He often explores stories rooted in the cultural, traditional, social, and political phenomena of his surroundings. He tends to frame these narratives with shades of satire, comedy, fantasy, and even sci-fi. His short films have screened and competed at numerous prominent festivals, including the Indiskop Film Festival 2022, Viddsee Juree Awards 2021, Open Air Cinema-Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) 2022 and the DOSS Film Festival 2024. One of his most notable works, the short film "Apocalypse Mart" has garnered significant recognition.
