Emory is a filmmaker, content creator, and the co-founder of Blue Slate Films, a queer-owned, female-run production company that focuses on sleek, emotionally-driven storytelling, as well as elevating underrepresented voices. After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Emory worked as a Production Associate on NBC's Winter Olympic Games, producing and editing several of her own pieces. The team earned a coveted Olympic Golden Rings Award and was nominated for a Sports Emmy®. Emory's work has been featured in TimeOut, The New York Post, Billboard, and in countless festivals worldwide. She is also a proud recipient of the Horizon Award founded by Cassian Elwes (Mudbound, The Butler), Christine Vachon (Carol, Boys Don't Cry), and Lynette Howell Taylor (A Star is Born, Blue Valentine).
