Jaa Jarunun Phantachat is an award-winning actor, playwright, director and producer and co-artistic director of B-Floor Theatre, a physical theatre group based in Bangkok. A graduate of Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Mass Communication, her physical theatre training includes modern dance, Laban Effort Qualities, Butoh and Viewpoints. She has performed in numerous B-Floor productions and toured internationally. In 2014, Jaa received the prestigious Silpathorn Award for outstanding merit in theatre from Thailand's Ministry of Contemporary Art and Culture and was an Asian Cultural Council Fellow.
