Luis Jordan Lorenzo is a second generation Cuban-American independent filmmaker and director of photography. His fascination with cameras became apparent at a young age after taking apart and reassembling his father's VHS camcorder. At 12 he received his very own video camera for Christmas and began creating short sketches with friends in his Central Florida neighborhood. Originally getting his professional start in TV production and corporate videography, he made the transition to film through several award winning comedic shorts and a period crime drama feature. Best described as an "old soul," Luis has always been instinctively drawn to all things vintage, classic, retro, antique, or old fashioned.
