Jaione Camborda (3 March 1983; San Sebastián) is a Spain filmmaker. After completing her studies at the The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) and the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF), she moved to Galicia where she founded the production company Esnatu Zinema and has created a renowned body of work as director of pieces such as Proba de axilidade [Agility], Nimbos, Lilit and Rapa das bestas [Wild Mane Crop]. In 2019 she scripted and directed the feature film Arima. Besides its screening at San Sebastian Film Festival she was deserving of the Award for Best Direction in the New Waves section at the Seville European Film Festival and for Best Film in the Escáner section at the Márgenes Film Festival.
