Cathy Worthington was born in Washington D.C. Her father was a World War II veteran, mother was raised in North Carolina. She moved to Riverside, CA with her family, where her father was an Electronics Engineer for the government and her mother was a homemaker. She is the oldest child with 2 younger brothers. She moved to LA to attend UCLA Theater Arts where she received her BA in Theater. She did her first professional film while still a student at UCLA. The day after graduation she was hired as part of a "Bunny Hunt" to be a Playboy Bunny in the Century City LA Club. She found it a great way to pay bills while pursuing acting. She had many opportunities to attend the Mansion parties but says "My lips are sealed!" She met her husband while working at the Club, where he was managing an act who was appearing there.
