Dionne Copland is the Writer and Director of the award-winning short films Inferno and Haxx Deadroom and the feature film Cold Wind Blowing. While they pursued their degree in Film Production, Inferno screened around the world at over twenty film festivals and earned awards for “Best Short Film” and “Best Filmmaker.” Their debut feature film, Cold Wind Blowing, won them the “Best Director Award” at the Genreblast Film Festival and screened at the Women in Horror Film Festival and Salem Horror Fest before its limited theatrical run and home video release in March 2022. Dionne spends most of their time writing, sitting with an idea and allowing the characters to take them through it until they claw their way out.
