The story follows Adam, a backpacker in his 30s living in Sandakan who dreams of traveling throughout Sabah. Before his journey begins, Adam learns about the story of beggar children who are unable to continue their education in school. These children live in Kampung Sampah (Garbage Village) and earn their living by collecting and selling discarded items. In order to provide equal educational opportunities to them, Adam is determined to teach the children by establishing a Garbage School, even sacrificing his travel dreams. This sacrifice is aided by one of his students, Erna, who also takes part in teaching her classmates who have fallen behind in their studies. Through efforts to develop the Garbage School, Erna has sent a letter to the leaders about the existence of this school.
