Neon has joined the distribution campaign for NAZA, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor's documentary examining Israeli military targeting in Gaza. The company will provide P&A funding, theater booking, and publicity support to expand the film's U.S. theatrical run, according to Deadline. MK2 Films, which negotiated international sales in 56 territories, brokered the deal.

NAZA premiered in the main competition of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on September 10, where it was the only documentary in the lineup. It won the Special Jury Prize and received a 25-minute standing ovation, reported as the longest in Venice history. The film also won the Audience Award at San Sebastián and screened at the New York Film Festival.

The film opened independently in the U.S. on September 30 in 85 theaters across 30 cities, earning nearly $900,000 in North American theaters, according to The Hollywood Reporter, before Neon came aboard. Worldwide, the film has reached $7.6 million.

Neon called the film "one of the best films of the year" and "an extraordinary work of art and eyewitness testimony," comparing it to Laura Poitras's CITIZENFOUR and Joshua Oppenheimer's The Act of Killing. Abraham and Szor previously co-directed No Other Land, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2025. NAZA has three Critics Choice Documentary Award nominations: Best Documentary, Best Director(s), and Best Political Documentary.

Jonathan Glazer, director of The Zone of Interest, serves as executive producer. The film's title refers to a Hebrew military acronym for the expected civilian death toll of a planned strike. The Guardian, a co-producer, plans to make NAZA available for free streaming in late November 2026.
