Disney has confirmed an August 13 premiere for Camp Rock 3 on Disney Channel, with the film streaming on Disney+ the following day. It is the first new installment in the franchise since Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010.

Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas return as Connect 3, the band whose world defines the camp. The story centers on the trio returning to Camp Rock to find a new opening act ahead of a national reunion tour. Maria Canals-Barrera also returns as Connie Torres.

A new cast leads the competition. Liamani Segura plays Sage, a determined camper vying for the coveted slot. She is joined by Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, and Ava Jean as Madison. Sherry Cola also appears. The film was directed by Veronica Rodriguez from a screenplay by Eydie Faye, with production completed in Vancouver, Canada.

Demi Lovato, who starred as Mitchie Torres in both previous films, does not appear on screen but serves as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers. Disney released the film's debut original song, One Beat Away, performed by Segura and the cast, alongside the teaser announcement on July 1.

The franchise returns after a 16-year absence, now built around a new generation. The Jonas Brothers provide the connective tissue. Whether the fresh cast can hold the screen on their own is the question the film will have to answer come August.
