The rest of the chart shows the distance between The Odyssey and the field. Disney's live-action Moana collected $19 million in its second frame, bringing its domestic total to $82.1 million. Minions & Monsters held in third with $14.8 million, its cumulative now at $137.6 million in its third weekend. Toy Story 5 matched that figure in its fifth weekend, its domestic total now at $430.9 million, the year's largest domestic cumulative run. Evil Dead Burn rounded out the top five with $5 million in week two.
The aggregate weekend total reached $193.5 million, up 41 percent against the comparable 2025 frame, per Box Office Mojo. The Odyssey ranks fourth among all R-rated domestic debuts, behind Deadpool and Wolverine, Deadpool, and Deadpool 2. For Universal, it is the studio's highest-grossing R-rated opening in history.
